PDF Merger — FAQ

How many PDF files can I merge at once?

You can merge as many PDF files as your browser's memory can handle. For best performance, keep the total combined size under 100 MB. Very large PDFs (50+ pages each) across many files may take several seconds to process on lower-end devices.

Will merging PDFs affect the content quality?

No. The merger combines PDF pages without re-rendering or re-compressing the content. All text, images, fonts, and formatting from each source PDF are preserved exactly in the merged output.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed without first removing the password protection, as the browser cannot access encrypted PDF content. Remove password protection using a dedicated tool before merging.
